Jade and Ryan hired me about halfway through their pregnancy with their second baby. She felt strongly about hiring a DONA Certified Doula as she used DONA for her postpartum doula certification. We clicked right off the bat and was open to exploring all her options for her VBAC. She ended up hiring Jetta Anderson of Family First Midwifery and chose to have a home birth after cesarean. Her first birth was a planned cesarean for breech presentation. Well her water broke and contractions were very slow to start and eventually I went over to help try to move things along and support this wonderful family. We ended up laboring at home through the night and into the middle of the next day when it was determined that they should go to the hospital for some assistance. She ended up getting an epidural and some pitocin and after a quick nap was ready to push out her perfect baby boy!! It was so wonderful and her doctor, Dr. Hervey of Premier OB/Gyn was very supportive of their transfer. She was able to have her VBAC even if the location changed and she was loved on and supported the whole way!
